How Does Your Garden Grow?

Mary Mary quite contrary. The origins of this nursery rhyme are quite gruesome, and in all honesty going flower crazy when it come to fashion is no comparison. However, this post is my attempt to help us keep our heads when it comes to the flower trend. I have seen it worn all at once and it can go terribly wrong, so proceed with caution my friends.

In The Trenches

Although it's been fun spending the winter with my fav Mackage winter coat, I can't say I'm disappointed to move on. For me the most versatile way to move on is the trench coat. Aside from my sister I must have been the only kid in grade school with a trench coat, and yes we did have friends. Anywho, there is nothing like a trench if you want to cover up, keep the chill off, and look chic.  Here are a few that look great and some are at a great price! (you know the drill click under the pic for more info.)

I don't think I need to say this coat is: Bananaaaas!

What are you made of?

That Miuccia Prada is a trip! fruit all over the clothes AND these! Spotted and tweeted them last night, well..It's hours later and I'm still thinking about them. Did some looking around and they are sold out everywhere, there's a waiting list! Also thanks to my beloved twitter and Refinery 29 I find out there is a noteworthy knockoff  HERE.  Very reminiscent of those high heel sneakers from back in the day, or even the Manolo Timberland; to be honest I was never a fan of either of those looks. Right now I'm as confused about my feelings as this shoe is about what the heck it is. An espadrille, brogue, sneaker. One thing is for sure, it knows how to make an impression on a girl.
Other looks from the line below.
PS. It's unisex. ( I hate leaving the boys out).

Louis Vuitton

Love the concept of this show! Totally chic. I love seeing models like Naomi, Amber, Kate (the list goes on) grace the runway.

Alexander McQueen

I love the art and sex of this line, and the corset laced boots are amazing!

Chanel

Karl Lagerfeld presented a dark edgy style for Chanel. Lots of black, grays and jumpsuits, accompanied  with a very end of the world smoking backdrop.

Galliano

The Galliano show went on without the designer. Here are the highlights.

Christian Dior

A lovely line by John Galliano, who was dismissed form Dior after THIS rant. The show was closed by the seamstresses and craftsmen of the label.

Thierry Mugler

Where do I even begin? This is some hardcore ISH! You have to be something pretty special not to leave some of your arse on that runway (the Shoes!). There's a bobble head dude that scared the crap out of me! and all I have to say about Lady GAGA is... Werk!

Versace

What is Versace without red carpet ready dresses? So naturally there is no shortage of that; However Donatella had gone in a scaled down direction for fall, maybe even a bit conservative (well for Versace anyway).

Max Mara

The minute I see off white for fall I'm on board. This line has a casual style that I love.

I am not ready to jump back into stir-up pants,
howeva... talk to me about this jacket.

Fendi

Heavens, this is so good! I think I'm having a bag attack!

Gucci

Very old school glamour, lots of legs, fur and color! Also loving all the variations of pink handbags I'm seeing on the runway. Gucci is simply sexy fabulous!
