Mad Men

AMC's Mad Men is one of my fav shows. I can't get enough of the craziness of watching pregnant women smoking, then later musing on what the heck is wrong with their kid. It is really a great show with a great cast, and last but not least really glam clothing. Turns out I'm not the only one that's noticed the glam of it all. Fashion retailer Banana Republic has teamed up with the shows costume designer Janie Bryant, to create a 65 piece collection for men and women that will be in stores this August. Take a peek at what they came up with. (Think I'm loving the men's stuff more.)

Strawberry Lemonade

Despite what is going on in fashion, I have always loved the combination of pink and yellow; It's so summery, girly and sweet. Above is my Tarina Tarantino ring, kinda naughty and nice right? I found some great pink/yellow combination items, but I never hesitate to create my own mix with separates. Either way, so sweet.

Tee Time!

We can't always be in dress-up mode. There are children to nurture, "honey do" lists to write and errands to run. I've been on the phone, when my Mom asks what her granddaughter had for lunch, and all I had to do was look at my shirt for a messy reminder. The point is some days require a tee shirt, if life is pristine then by all means go high end.  Whatever you do, remember to add fun and fab.
